One of the most amazing perks of photographing families is watching them change and grow. (Of course, this can also be a con as it reminds me I continue to grow older as well).
The Coffey family are near and dear to my heart. Every moment spent with them is full of laughter, good conversation and fun. My last session with them, their son was just a sweet baby. Now, he’s a rambunctious two year old, full of boyish charm and mischief.
And then there’s his lovely older sister, whose quick wit and sense of humor always keeps me in stitches.
Even though the brilliance of fall is behind us, that doesn’t mean portrait season is over. I love the muted colors of winter! They make my subjects pop even more and the light is so soft and beautiful.
We chose Glencoe Mill Village as our location, giving their sweet boy plenty of room to run and play, in between bribing him shamelessly for photos.
I. Can’t. Even.
Taylor, you are beautiful!
