Jordyn knows who she is and she rocks it. I love that about her. A self proclaimed diva, she was completely comfortable in front of the lens and her personality sparkled like the glitter she brought to the session! She chose downtown Greensboro for her senior portraits and I was thrilled to photograph her in some of my favorite spots. We raced to three different locations before losing the light and congratulated ourselves on a job well done.
I first met Jordyn when I photographed her older sister more than 3 years ago! We blinked and suddenly it was Jordyn’s turn to celebrate her final year of high school. Jordyn attends River Mill Academy and is the FCA president, National Honor Society secretary, and involved in student government. She is also on the youth leadership team at her church and enjoys singing. In her free time she enjoys shopping, spending time with friends and family, going to church, and hanging out at the pool.
Her favorite quote comes from Exodus 14:14: “The Lord will fight for you, you only need to be still.”
When I asked her what she hoped her senior photos would convey to others, she said this, “That I’m sassy but I’m also caring and giving. I’m here to make a difference and convey happiness in someone’s life and that I have a lot of joy in my life.”
Jordyn, I believe your joy is evident to all and it is certainly contagious!
Jordyn’s mom brought their adorable new puppy, Harley, to the photo shoot and she made her debut as a model! She was the cutest, softest little thing!
Just stunning, Jordyn!
Jordyn’s beloved Grandmother passed away this past year. I love her desire to honor her in her photographs.
Now, how fun is this shot in the middle of downtown Greensboro?! I love when my seniors are willing to do whatever it takes to get THE shot!
